Picture StoryAustralia's Snowy Mountains are flat and rounded rather than tall and steep, so they don’t often look dramatic when compared to our overseas mountain cousins. But, when they are covered in snow, usually for only about 3 or 4 months nowadays, they take on an entirely different character. This shot was taken after a long snow shoe out to Rawsons Pass which is a small saddle at the foot of the last climb up to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko. The actual summit is just out of the picture on the left hand edge. Create your personal portfolio page and let us share it monthly to over 400,000 members and followers.
